the all things footie awards

Each year all things footie likes to copy the PFA and the football writers association and bestow on the most deserving, a number of awards. The first awards were given out at the end of the 2000–2001 season and the history can be found at the bottom of the page.

Firstly is the atf player of the season; an award for the most influential, entertaining, consistent and downright brilliant player of the current season.

Next is the atf outstanding young player; awarded to a player under 23 years of age who has displayed a maturity and a talent that belies his age.

Finally a slightly more original award, atf senior player of the season; awarded to a player over 33 who is defying his age to the extent that he is impossible to leave out for a more youthful alternative.
