NT-hell

After stringing me out for two weeks telling me they'd get back to me about an installation date NTL have finally given up the goat and admitted they can't install a phone line. I take back everything nice I've ever said about them. It looks like it's back to good old BT (I take back everything nasty I've ever said about them.... for now), so I should be sorted within the next week or so and regular updates plus maybe a bit of a redesign on the way.

If there's anything you think I should change then let me know, [email protected] thanks for the feedback.

Back to football.... Blackburn Rovers have made an improved bid of 3m plus 1m after 30 appearances for Liverpool's French defender Djimi Traore. Every time I've seen him play he's looked abysmal so I reckon Liverpool could do a lot worse than cut their losses (even though they'd make a profit on him of 3.5m). Liverpool beet Thailand 3-1 with 2 strikes from Michael Owen making up the difference between the sides.

Remeber Croatian midfielder Robert Prosinecki? here's a lovely picture to jog your memory

Well, he looks as though he'll be joining Portsmouth at the end of the week, an odd move I think but the man tells it like it is "There have been a number of offers but Portmouth's is the best."

Derby's Jamaican international and club captain Darren Powell ahs indicated that the 12 months left on his contract could well be his last with the club, Wolves have been mentioned and he refuses to rule out a move to Molineux.

"Unless something is sorted out in the next few weeks, I can't see I will sign another one. Everyone wants to play in the top division and I am no different but if I had to drop down a division, I would."

Its busy at Upton Park. West Ham are considering a move for young Man United winger/forward Jonathon Greening and they've got shirty with Newcastle for making public a 6m bid for Trevor Sinclair. Paulo Di Canio is now linked with a move to the Magpies and long suffering transfer target Pep Guardiola is the subject of interest from Hammers boss Glen Roeder.

And finally check out the lookalike on football 365 here - it's topical at least.
